Perfect fit and high quality
Fits a standard corny keg perfectly. Seals like a champ and works much better than the cracked PRVs that come on my kegs. Nice!

Keep a replacement on hand
I had one go bad in my keg and had no spare. These are cheap and last a while but I always keep a spare or two for emergencies.

Questionable...
I put this onto a keg of rootbeer I needed to carb up. It held the 40 psi for the first round, but when I opened it to relieve some pressure for serving psi, the o-ring blew off and dropped into the keg. When I asked Midwest the next week for the replacement o-ring, they had no clue which one. Bad start to me.

Browse 1 question Browse 1 question and 1 answer
Will the manual relief valve vent pressure automatically if the keg is over pressured? Will it vent to keep the keg from bursting since they are not meant to exceed 130 PSI ?

BEST ANSWER: The relief valve on most co2 regulators will activate before a keg will. Kegs will activate though the actual pressure depends upon the keg.
