Belgian Dubbel Beer Recipe Kit

I’ve made about a dozen different extract kits. This one has been the most interesting. I added the wet yeast, and active fermentation wasn’t visible for 72 hours. Then fermentation was done 48 hours later. It’s in the secondary right now so I’m curious to see the final results.

I really enjoyed making this beer, I love the taste and it looks so beautiful in a glass. It is a good looking beer with rich color and the flavor is my all time favorite. If you haven't made this beer yet I highly recommend you do it soon. This is an outstanding beer!

I've made this three times now and its fantastic. I'm sad every time I'm down to the last few bottles.

Not trying to be poetic or anything, but sipping this beer makes me picture walking in an orchard just after it rained and the clouds have not cleared away quite yet. So smooth and rich, the fruity aroma in the background and with such a clean finish. The esters are there for sure but so gentle they don't plow over the delicate points. I did splurge a little and used the liquid yeast option. This was superb - I named my batch "Magnetic Distraction" because it's so good it makes you forget what you were saying.

I used this as the base for my Christmas ale this year and it worked out perfectly
