Product Details

This Mini-Jet has a self-priming pump! Turn it on and it will draw liquid from your carboy or fermenter directly into the pump and through the filter pads, with no siphoning, no fussing around, and no mess! You get brilliantly polished wine in only minutes, and you never have to worry about stopping and starting the filter if you need to: turn it back on and it simply starts where it left off! You can bottle your clear wine with the happy knowledge that it will be stable in the bottle and look great for years to come.

Clear, fined wine is very pretty, and shows well in a glass. But filtered wine has a diamond sparkle to it that catches the eye, and looks more like a commercial wine. It’s the difference between a freshly washed car and a freshly waxed car. Both are great, but one is noticeably more appealing.

Mini-Jet filters use three different grades of pads for for increasing levels of polish. Whichever Mini Jet Filter Pads you use, we strongly recommend using the Buon Vino Mini Jet Pre Screen Filter with your Mini-Jet if your wine contains oak chips or powder, or if it contained grape skins. You will not want to filter or fine any wine that contains solids such as stems or oak chips without pre-filtering first. This will clog the pump and void the warranty.

All small pumps are designed specifically to move liquids with low levels of suspended material, and the small, efficient and easy-to-clean pre-filter helps ensure your pump head maintains maximum efficiency as you filter your delicious wine.

Needed but not included: Mini Jet Filter Pads

Works Great!

I used it on a mead that had been clarifying for over 6 months in the carboy and it looked crystal clear after running through the filter system. No more sediment problems in my bottle wines!

Great value

Have used it once and worked great. Runs quieter than I expected. Wine came out crystal clear.

Great product and works very well. Just make sure you order MINI filters otherwise you get the full sized ones and they don’t fit. Isn’t clear on the website when ordering. I have ordered the wrong filter twice.

3 legged Stability achieved

I have not used my new filter pump as of yet but wanted to correct the stability 3 leg issue as note on some comments before I did used it, so this is what I did.
I took a scrap piece of 1"x6"x 14" oak board and drilled 3, 1/2" leg holes thru it. I drilled 4, 3/4" holes half way thru it for the 4 small studs at the bottom and sat it on the board. It works like a charm and took me a whole 10 minutes to make and the pump is very stabile since the pump tray has a large area to rest on. I gave it 5 stars since it appears as everything I've read about.
