Product Details

Aromas of crushed blackberries and vanilla follow through to a densely packed palate richly blessed with streaks of chocolate interwoven with abundant oak tones. Fermented on heavy toasted Hungarian oak shavings, the finish is dramatic and long.

From the full-bodied and robust to the soft and refined, Cru Select wines are delightful dinner companion and a real treasure for wine enthusiasts looking to complete their personal cellar.

Cru Select Chilean Malbec

I've made this a few times, and along with the Cru Pinot Noir are both standard in our cellar. I need to buy or make a small strainer around the syphon bottom in wines that have a lot of wood chips, as they tend to make syphoning difficult by plugging the syphon.
