This slick unit can be used for bottling both still & sparkling wine. The filler has a tapered fitting that accommodates 5/16”, 3/8” & 1/2” siphon hoses. To use, simply attach the siphon hose to the spigot on the bottling bucket & filler unit, turn the spigot on, push the button on the filler & the filling begins! When the bottle is full, the unit automatically shuts off. The rubber piece that goes into the bottle can be moved to adjust the fill level. The nut on the top of the unit allows regulation of the flow.

I love it! No longer do I have to stare at my bottle as it’s filling. Push the button and I can move over to cork the previous one while the filler stops automatically when the bottle is full. Great item!
This is a great tool to aid in bottling. Virtually eliminates spillage from over filling.
It is fast and very accurate and inexpensive.
I love this bottle filler. It has speeded up my operation for a home wine maker. If it ever breaks for any reason I would order another immediately. I did have a crack in one that was shipped, but Midwest didn’t ask any questions just shipped me another. Great people gray product. Thanks Dennis
This a great unit, but the ones sent to me don't match the selling photo. You only get the one cap that has a tube connecting port on the cap, the photo shows the unit without the tube connecting cap which is for bottling regular wines. I purchased one a couple months ago and then contacted the company and they sent me a new one but the exact same item. There are suppose to be two caps, one for the sparkling wines and one for regular wines. Otherwise this would get 5 stars. I asked the lady at the service dept if the unit comes with both caps, didn't get a very good answer and she was quick to volunteer shipping another to me free.
I read a lot of the reviews, and agree using this bottle filler can be tricky and my first experience was messy to say the least. My wine seemed to have a lot of CO-2 in it, and wine and gas wanted to escape through the top. I did 2 things that made all the difference, I ran a hose from the top into a empty wine bottle to vent, and I shortened the distance I was siphoning so the wine had less pressure. After doing those things, it has worked really well and speeds up bottling tremendously.
