This new German variety was bred at the Hop Research Institute in Hull, Germany, and released in 2012. It is very interesting in that it has an incredibly high Alpha Acid level, at 18-23%, and also possesses an incredibly high essential oil content at 4-5 mL/100g. This variety has a bold taste and distinctive flavor with intense floral and fruity aroma with fresh minty notes.

These things are terrible. Very oniony with very little real flavor or aroma profile. Didn't seem to impart much bittering either.
