Product Details

A variation on our extremely popular Kolsch recipe with the addition of honey and a new yeast strain for a lighter body and flavor. Like our original Kolsch kit, this recipe features a pale color, light body, and smooth mouthfeel. Honey adds subtle floral character and lightens the body by fermenting to dryness. Really nice as a summer brew for barbecues and picnics, or to wean your friends off watery mass-produced lagers.

If you enjoyed Honey Bee Ale, you'll love this kit!

Delicious Kolsch. You have to try this!

I just moved this to the keg. It is the best lighter beer I have ever brewed. I has a light sweetness on the nose and a nice light and crisp bready finish. The honey is very subtle. I plan to keep this one on tap as a permanent part of the rotation. It is a real crowd pleaser. I used California Ale V liquid yeast FYI which I absolutely love with this beer.

Very nice it's a go to drink, neabors love it. This batch went the fastest over my other beers, will be doing this one again.
