Product Details

Often times, two things combine so perfectly that the end result is far greater than the sum of its parts - peanut butter and jelly, macaroni and cheese, Hall & Oates - the list goes on and on. With this simple recipe, the same holds true.

Pronounced flavors of lemon, melon and herbal undertones make Lemondrop hops a natural fit for the fruity esters and spicy phenolics inherent to the classic Saison style. Pouring with perfect synergy, Lemondop Saison flaunts a deep golden color, moderate bitterness, a dry finish and an astounding depth of flavor. Be sure to ferment this recipe on the warm side to ensure full flavor development.

Great Balance

I performed a continuous recirculation mash for an hour at nearly 170. Great aroma and finish. Sparkling white head after 4 weeks of bottle conditioning using table sugar in 1L spring cap bottles. Defiantly going to brew this again.

OK not great

Thought it would be more citrus & lemony. Perhaps adding some lemon zest in the secondary would help.

I am in primary fermentation now. I can’t rate it yet
