Works as stated

I’m using for the first time as of brew day yesterday. I ferment in my basement, where the temp has been low-mid 50s lately. I plugged my heat wrap into the “Heat” receptacle of the unit, guided the probe to the bottom of the thermowell, and plugged in the unit. At first it seemed to take a while to display the right temp, but I believe it had to do with the thermowell slowing down the heat transfer. I have it set at 67F, and like my old Thermostar unit, there’s a 2 degree differential, so it switches the heat on at 65 and warms up to near 67. It seems to average about 66. So far I have no complaints.

Works great! I have one for my keezer, which I also use for fermentation. I’m adding a second fridge, so I bought another one!
