An ale strain of Norwegian origin that has an astoundingly wide temperature range (62F-98F) with little difference in flavor profile across the whole range. Temperature control is unnecessary with this strain. It has a unique fruitiness that makes it complementary to modern hop varieties. This just may be the perfect yeast for warmer climates or those hot summer months. Hothead is a proprietary strain that you will not find anywhere else.

Just successfully brewed four batches of beer (two IPAs and a stout and a cream ale) from one packet of Hothead, harvesting yeast. Temperatures averaged high 70's to low 80's throughout. It's great not to be fussing with dumping ice cubes into tubs of water every day trying to keep wort in mid 60's.
Very happy with all omega products I have used.
I live in Central California where it is always hot as balls. So this yeast is a godsend.By far my favorite yeast.
