This attenuative strain will create a complex mineral character with moderate fruity esters. Beers will finish dry with a wonderful balance of full malty flavors while not inhibiting hop bitterness.
A great choice for fermenting traditional British styles, especially pale ales and stouts. This strain tends to remain in suspension; additional aging, fining or filtration will be needed to produce bright beers.
This is my first time using Omega yeasts and the experience was very good. I use primarily liquid yeasts for their freshness and the quality they add to the final product. I made a 1 liter starter which is common practice in my brewery , however it was the first time using a fast pitch can. Both worked well but I will wait to taste the fermented beer.
