The kit took longer to bring to fruition and acid test showed it to be slightly acidic. It has a slight after taste of potassium sorbate to it. Perhaps it would be better if you only and one packet of sorbate instead of two packets.
This is a favorite of ours, and also our neighbors and family with whom we have shared it. We love the Orchard Breezin' kits! We typically increase the ABV somewhat by upping the S.G. before fermentation, then also cut back slightly on the backsweetening afterward. Those are somewhat common home-wine-maker adjustments to customize the final result as far as sweetness and alcohol content. We have made enough Orchard Breezin' kits to know that they produce consistent results if you follow the directions, and we are happy that they handle our "tweaks" very well, too. We have made this kit a couple of times now and will keep doing so in order to keep it stocked in our cellar.
Good Stuff It's a 3rd Timer
This kit was very easy to use. Even came with labels. So far we love the taste, will let it age more before consuming.
Awesome. Everyone loved it.
