Good Quality High Price

I converted the standard pin lock used kegs I bought off of Midwest Supplies a couple years ago. They are Coca Cola kegs. I believe they are called "corny" kegs. The fit is perfect and the fittings for the gas and fluid lines are snug. I do not like the price, but the quality is the best. A buddy tried a cheaper brand from another site and is not so happy.

Stuck with some pin locks

Its helpful for keggers with ball locks who come into a few pin locks. Better than throwing a keg away, and it works fine.

Useful

I'm stuck with a few pin locks and this option is cheaper than buying new kegs. Given the high price, it's not of as much benefit.

Doesn't work on Cornelius Pin Locks

Great news is that Cornelius brand ball lock and pin lock keg posts are interchangeable with the Type B ball lock posts found on this site. Found this out after below..._x000D__x000D_I purchased these before Midwest specified "Firestone" in their description, and was quite disappointed when I found this out as I was trying to rack into the keg! I'm sure they work great for Firestone kegs if you need to convert, but are a little pricey for being aluminum and not SS. Two Type B SS ball lock posts are cheaper than these, and a much better quality. I was very happy to find out Cornelius ball lock and pin lock posts are interchangeable.

Helps out

Very helpful for those with ball locks (like me) who are stuck with pin locks. A little expensive but still better than buying new kegs.
