This potassium metabisulfite works great in a sanitizing solution and as something to protect the wine before and after fermentation. I prefer it over sodium metabisufite.
very good product
Can’t speak for the chemistry but it appears to work well in the wine stabilization and clearing prep stage and as a preserver to facilitate longer storage. I usually put in a 0.25 tsp/23L potassium metabisulfite preserver addition to my clarified wine before bottling and have been able to enjoy produced wines beyond 5 years without any hint of spoilage.
Product arrived promptly
I’m old (especially to drinking beer) but a rookie to home brewing. Yesterday I brewed from one of the kits. The directions were very clear and easy to follow. They kept me moving right though it instead of scratching my head.
