Excellent wine. I ferment at 70 degrees F over 2 weeks and transferred into secondary for 5 weeks. The wine is fruity initially but after aging for 6 months, the fruit mellows out. I have made this kit twice and will buy it again.
This is a great blend that's gotten tons of compliments. I thought it tasted and smelled like figs when I was first getting the batch started, so right away I knew it'd be different. It's got tons of character and I doubt any will last long enough to see a year behind the cork. It's that good! I'll echo the review that says it "warms my heart, body and soul."
MADE 2 BATCHES THIS TIME! TASTE AND BOTTLED 3-30-20. IT WAS AWESOME AND WILL ONLY GET BETTER!
Hard to review just yet, I moved it from primary to secondary fermenter today. Looks good tho, nice aroma during racking.
I have made this blend before and many say it is the best wine that I have made. Presently I have another batch in the making. It has great flavor but is not overpowering. I just love the way it goes down and warms my heart, body and soul. It's just plain great.
