Our favorite wine kit of all time!

I’ve made this kit 3 times and ordered a forth.
Will always have one to drink and one aging as long as Spagnols keeps producing this blend.

Just bottled

We just bottled this wine and liked the taste at bottling. Will let it sit a while before trying, but thought the combination of Cabernet and Zinfandel has got to be great!

Happy with finished product

I finally finished the clarifying step and bottled the wine this past weekend. I put abut 1 - 1.5 Liters of "Blackbox" Cabernet to reduce the head space in the clarifying carboy. I am please with the wine. It is a full body wine, but just a little sweeter than the Cabernet, but a good balance between my taste and my wife's taste. I am sure it will continue to improve as it ages. I would buy this wine kit again. the instructions were clear and I'm pleased with the results.

5 star home made wine

Well balanced, great mouth-feel, fruit forward but mellow and nice smooth finish. Syrah and Zin make great bold, fruit forward wine and the cab is the mellow velvety finish. I've been making wine for over 10 years and this is my new go to wine. I did a primary ferment for about 25 days, cooler temp ( around 68-70) and I left it to bulk age in the carboy almost a year. I give a lot of wine as gifts and so far those that have tried it want more. I've only drank 2 bottles of it myself but it is a good batch!
