Product Details

The most sanitary immersion chiller on the market.

A simple tweak—adding barbed fittings and a drop-angle to our favorite immersion chiller—spawns a new best-in-class product. Introducing Silver Serpent®, the most sanitary immersion chiller on the market.

Brew with peace of mind like never before. Drop-angle connections provide insurance against contamination. Surprise leaks stay outside your kettle and away from cooling wort.

Ensure secure tubing with proprietary barbed fittings. Eradicate shooting streams of water that make a mess in your brew cave. Do away with ill-fitting hose clamps on mis-shapen chiller connections.

Maximize flow and minimize fuss. The Silver Serpent™ drop-angle eliminates kinked tubing. No more hassling with propping up water hose. Tubing can now hang tension-free, kink-free and problem-free.

Includes:
  • Stainless Steel Immersion Chiller
  • Vinyl Tubing; one end with a garden hose fitting for attaching to a utility sink
  • Hose clamps to secure tubing to barbed fittings
Note: Product arrives fully assembled.

I love it

It cooled my first wort down in a flash I'll be trying to brew my second batch soon and i know my wort chiller is going to work great

The chiller cuts down time and cleaning. My wort chills in about 15 -20 minutes. Of course this does depend on the water temp. and time of year. I would recommend this to anyone. Excellent product.

Cools for wort it's worth

Works well and doesn't get the corrosion that my old copper cooler did. Longer hoses would be nice.

Baby it's cool inside

Simple, effective and fast.

Works great!

I was able to cool the wort from flame out to 85 degrees F in about 10 minutes. I used a a submersible pump in a 9 gallon container with 20 pounds of ice and the balance with cold tap water. I used the chiller as an agitator by bobbing it up and down to make the heat exchange faster and to aerate the wort. Tip, Hold the inflow cold water side to agitate, the hot outflow side heats up fast early on! I think I will use a little more ice to drop the temp a little further so I don't wait so long to pitch yeast. I boiled about 5.5 gallons of wort. Still nice to not have to wait overnight to cool the wort for pitching.
