These strips worked great for my traditional wildflower show mead. Was able to accurately test and my adjust pH of my mead during critical fermentation times. Like many people state, these won’t work well for red wine because of the pigment.
I like these because they are simple and give me a quick check of my light colored wine's PH and an idea of the acid level as well.
Works well with most fruit juices. Highly recommended.
Pardon the pun. I like having this on hand to make adjusting the acid mix easier and less guesswork.
Cannot recommend this product, with red wine. I had no white to test. My red wine made the paper red and you could not read the color necessary to take a reading. It may be useful for other than red?
