Making a Barleywine using 2 packs of yeast. Initial Sg 1.09 looking to finish at 1.015. Followed directions to smack package to mix yeast and starter nutrients. One package split open losing some of contents the other was ok. Yeast and starter still did not fully mix. Took almost 72 hours to start fermenting at 72 degrees F. Had to agitate fermenter bucket to get it going. Then it went great for 4-5 days. After 2 weeks fermentation was stuck and sg at 1.034. Added a yeast energizer and agitated bucket again. Getting a some very slow activity. Planning to move to secondary fermenter after 96 hours. Almost a week behind schedule.
