Details"If you were to ask the average Spanish winemaker in the Rioja wine region
of Spain what they thought of Cabernet Sauvignon, they would probably
smile rather sheepishly and quip that it makes an excellent blending
Gorgeous ruby red in color, this medium-bodied wine is Spain's answer to Cabernet Sauvignon, with berry, plum and herbal notes running to a lush finish of tobacco, leather and vanilla.

Racked to carboy 5/12/2018. Left in carboy from May - Nov. Bottled 11/12/2018. Very drinkable at bottling time. Should age to a very nice wine. '
6/8/2019. Tried a bottle WOW! this is delicious! A nice light taste, not as earthy as a cabernet.June 8, 2019Batch 5? Six?My wife and I got introduced to Tempranillos with a fantastic bottle of a Tempranillo/Syrah about 8 years ago. Shortly thereafter we bought this kit and were absolutely thrilled.
We've *always* had some in the house since then. A couple times it's gotten to only a few remaining bottles before the next batch was ready, but this is absolutely our House Wine.
In a couple weeks we'll be bottling the latest batch. It's better than even odds that the next one will actually be two side-by-side batches just to keep up with demand.August 29, 2018Purchased

Browse 2 questions Browse 2 questions and 8 answersHow many gallons does it make?BEST ANSWER: 6 gallons. Beautiful wine--have almost 100 bottles in my cellar.are labels included?BEST ANSWER: We have a bunch of labels from years back, but I think we might have bought them separately. Our last several kits didn't come with labels so I'm pretty sure they never have. (It's been a few years since our first batch, though.)
