Bottle Size 16 oz. Type EZ Cap
4.9 / 5.012 ReviewsGood bottlesI use the clear bottles for making mead from the honey I get from my bees and the brown bottles for making beer. The thing I like about EZ cap bottles is that if I start to drink from it and about half way through I don't want the rest I can just close it back up, set it back in the refrigerator and the next evening it's just as good as when I first opened it rather than dumping the rest like I have to with the 12 ouncers.. Tops tend to be a little sticky when I first uncap it, though. But overall I like them.February 12, 2019Purchased

over 2 years agoGreat, but go with a dark colorGreat bottles, but having a bottle that protects from light is better. Unless you really need to see through your bottle, I recommend the cobalt or amber bottles.January 1, 2017Purchased

Browse 8 questions Browse 8 questions and 16 answersis this a lead free glass?BEST ANSWER: Yes. All our products are produced in accordance with US law, food safe, and appropriate for use in home brewing. Can this bottle style be used for Port and Wine as well?BEST ANSWER: i definitely would not use for port, as it needs time in the bottle. These are good for short term wine coolers like the Orchard Breezin summer kits. I use mine mostly for quick aging fruit wines. I also sometimes put a cork in at first and use the EZ cap for recorking. Makes great individual wine bottles. How wide is the mouth?BEST ANSWER: Outside diameter just over 1 inch. Inside diameter about 3/4 inch.where are these bottles made?BEST ANSWER: Not sure where they are made. I was extremely pleased with quality of the bottle. Used them for a wedding favor. Received numerous compliments on the presentation. Highy recommended. Is the top porcelain or plastic?BEST ANSWER: Hard plastic with rubber washer. What drying rack works best with these bottles?BEST ANSWER: Use a flat (horizontal) rack. If you use a tree rack, then the shape of the bottle results in a small pool of water forming and it takes much longer to dry. Also, the heavy weight quality of the bottle is too much for some tree racks to support. How tall are these bottles and can I get replacement washers?BEST ANSWER: The bottles are about 9" tall, and replacement washers can be found here.Do you sell carries for this type of bottle?
