One of the best purchases ever
I have taken the lifting out of brewing Beer. Love using the pump, no more siphoning and then lifting the pail back up to the counter. Pump from the kettle to the Ale pail then, in a week or so, pump to the carboy and in a couple weeks I will pump the beer into the keg which will be in the keezer right next to the counter. Turn up the CO2 and in a couple days another great brew. I am just recovery from Cancer and am not strong enough to lift a full pail so this is a life saver.

It works great, and a lot easier to use than a standard siphon pump.

Stop heavy lifting !
Great little unit. Used it for the first time and saved my back for a change. Good price point as well. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is this : no directions about anything, how to set up, which way is in, which way is out. C’mon guys, include an instruction sheet or at least a diagram !

Dry hopping with pump
It is perfect GPM for dry hopping in a closed loop system. Most other pumps are too fast or too slow.

Faster than siphoning
Pump makes transferring a much easier task. No more lifting heavy fermenters out of the fermenter freezer and stirring up all that has settled out. The longer I do this the more I like to eliminate the heavy lifting. Pump works great and simple to clean when done.

That little pump is the greatest. I am 80 years old and elevating one container above the other is out of the question.I have more plans for it like putting a filter in line before my keg.

Can you use an inline filter with this pump when transferring to your bottling bucket.?

Does this pump disassemble for cleaning?
Chad C on Nov 8, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I did not try as there is usually little springs and such in a pump. I have two short pieces of hose on inlet and outlet openings. I run fresh water through it then some of my sanitizing solution. Then fresh water again. I also bought two little corks for ends of hoses. They keep solution from running out and keeps critters from playing house.
can you bottle with this pump?
A shopper on Sep 30, 2018
BEST ANSWER: No, it is way too fast. i used it to transfer 5 gallons at a time from a 25 gal secondary into bottling bucket. About 2 and 1/2 minutes for nearly five gallons
Can I use this transfer pump to aerate work by just pulling room air ?
A shopper on Apr 10, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Sorry it took me so long. I hooked it up and tried it. It did blow bubbles so I think it might work as an aerator. I would be cautious though. Some pumps are designed to run wet only. The fluid can provide cooling and lubrication. I would wait for a recommendation from the manufacturer.
Happy brewing!
What is that "big mouth bubbler" on the stool? Is that another component necessary to complete the transfer process with the pump?

BEST ANSWER: Do not buy this pump it’s too weak to get itself started
