2 months agoGreat pump for the moneyGreat pump. I only wish I had purchased the whole kit. Buying the correct size hose in my small area is a no go. Plus my racking cane was a little big.June 4, 2019Purchased

4 months agoGood for the money. For the price it works just fine.... it’s a bit noisy but inexpensive enough to buy another one if needed as a second pump or as a replacement.May 8, 2019Purchased

3 months agoOnly used it twice worked well both times. would like a good filter to use with wine, still looking. It would be nice to have adjustable speed or pressure, but it works.May 2, 2019Purchased
4 months agoOne of the best purchases everI have taken the lifting out of brewing Beer. Love using the pump, no more siphoning and then lifting the pail back up to the counter. Pump from the kettle to the Ale pail then, in a week or so, pump to the carboy and in a couple weeks I will pump the beer into the keg which will be in the keezer right next to the counter. Turn up the CO2 and in a couple days another great brew. I am just recovery from Cancer and am not strong enough to lift a full pail so this is a life saver.April 14, 2019Purchased
5 months agoIt works great, and a lot easier to use than a standard siphon pump.March 13, 2019Purchased
6 months agoStop heavy lifting !Great little unit. Used it for the first time and saved my back for a change. Good price point as well. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is this : no directions about anything, how to set up, which way is in, which way is out. C’mon guys, include an instruction sheet or at least a diagram !March 7, 2019Purchased

Browse 8 questions Browse 8 questions and 28 answersWill this work for transferring wine between 2 plastic carboys?BEST ANSWER: YES. No question about this task. It can handle it. Keeps you from lifting heavy carboys. Now it would be wise to add as filter in the intake side of the pump. You'll need to do your own plumbing since the intake hose sizes may be a mismatch between the filter and the pump, but you local hardware store has what you need. You need to keep chips, and other solids out of your pump or it clogs up or burns up. Clean the pump like you would prep your siphon before use and after use, including all your hoses. Clean out the filter as needed. Can I use this transfer pump to aerate work by just pulling room air ?BEST ANSWER: Sorry it took me so long. I hooked it up and tried it. It did blow bubbles so I think it might work as an aerator. I would be cautious though. Some pumps are designed to run wet only. The fluid can provide cooling and lubrication. I would wait for a recommendation from the manufacturer.
Happy brewing! Can you use an inline filter with this pump when transferring to your bottling bucket.?What is the maximum temperature recommended for the pump to handle? What is that "big mouth bubbler" on the stool? Is that another component necessary to complete the transfer process with the pump?BEST ANSWER: The pump transfers liquid from one container to another. That means you should have at least two containers. It works fine for the price...just make sure you ad a filter on the intake side. How do you fix the pump if it will not operate?BEST ANSWER: Please reach out to customer service. We will be able to help you out.Does this pump disassemble for cleaning?BEST ANSWER: I did not try as there is usually little springs and such in a pump. I have two short pieces of hose on inlet and outlet openings. I run fresh water through it then some of my sanitizing solution. Then fresh water again. I also bought two little corks for ends of hoses. They keep solution from running out and keeps critters from playing house.can you bottle with this pump?BEST ANSWER: No, it is way too fast. i used it to transfer 5 gallons at a time from a 25 gal secondary into bottling bucket. About 2 and 1/2 minutes for nearly five gallons
