THE KIND

If you brew Belgian ales, especially if you brew "special" Belgian ales, these are the bottles for you! I make wooden crates for these, to put them away for long aging. Makes a special gift even better.

Best bottle for Belgians

When you brew authentic Belgian ales, you often carbinate them to a high level. Because of this, they are more prone to bottle bombs with normal, capped bottles. Belgian bottles are thicker to take that pressure. But most importantly, a corked and caged (called "wire cage" at Midwest) Belgian bottle is less likely to pop off than your normal crown cap.

good for belgian wine

we do small batches of Belgian wine in January to give away at Christmas. We use these bottles and dress them up with labels and goodies like sausage and cheese. They look great!_x000D_
