Worst Customer Service

Received a damaged wine kit that had to be shrink wrapped o hold the box together. The outside package was fine; no damage, which means the company shipped this to me without checking the contents and without any notification. The least they could have done was to send me an email to advise while the container is damaged, all contents were checked and are fine. Nothing!
I contacted them and received an email back saying as long as the wine bag is not leaking, everything should be okay... Not even a we are sorry for the damaged carton! I wrote back and suggested that this should have been checked and I should have been advised of the damaged carton. They did not even have the decency to respond. I have the wine in the clearing stage and hope that it is okay... Will know in a couple of weeks, but because of their extremely poor CS, I will never use Midwest Supplies again!

Excellent, superb !

I'm amazed at how well this wine came out. It tastes very much like the wines I drank while in Australia that were from New Zealand.
I've made wine from frozen Sauvignon Blanc grapes, skins and seeds and although good they never come out with the same flavor profile of the NZ wine.
(Granted the frozen grapes were grown in CA.) For me this is the way Sauvignon Blanc is suppose to taste. Obvious grapefruit with hints of flint and herbaceous grasses. Although I like making wine from frozen grapes; I can't argue with a kit that tastes so wonderful, makes it easy and is so affordable.

The wine kit I received stated this was a New Zealand STYLE kit. This implies the grapes were from other than New Zealand. The kit was sold and advertised as a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc wine. If the grapes were in fact from New Zealand why is the kit labeled as STYLE?

My only area for improvement is the instructions on the .pdf provided on your website. I had to search the internet for instructions with type that's large enough to read! It's very tiny type! The other kit I have (Pinot Grigio) is ok. Maybe have an option for large print for us retirees who love your kits! Ok maybe just call it large print option. LOL! The wine is still clearing but I racked it yesterday and stole some to taste - it's all in the name of science, right? It is quite tasty even this young! By the way, every interaction I've had with your company has been professional and delightful! I love it when people obviously love their jobs - as every Midwest staff member obviously does! Good job!!
