This is our first experience with the En Primeur series, having bottled 3 Sommelier Select kits previously. The wine is still clearing and we won't bottle for another 2 weeks; however, when we tested it was very good. A couple of comments; the yeast was slow in starting and the specific gravity wasn't moving (product temperature was within suggested range) so on day 6 I added yeast nutrient which kicked started it and it took off, and I skipped step 2 secondary fermentation because it seemed unnecessary with this style.

Really liked the wine made from this kit. However, at the cost, I probably will not order again.

Comments on Sauvignon Blanc
I have used the RSJ En Primeur its several times on different wines. This one behave differently during the fermentation period. Except for the changes in Specific Gravity I would have thought it was stuck. After a few extra days the final reading was as specified. The wine is in the aging stage and is clarifying nicely.
