Introducing the most feature-rich pro-quality brew kettle at an incredible price. Edelmetall is the first kettle to feature a weldless tangential whirlpool port, allowing you to draw ultra-clear wort into your fermentor.
Zero internal threads for easy cleaning. The Edelmetall Brü® thermometer, tangential whirlpool port and EZ Clean™ Bulkhead have no threads on the kettle interior.
Transfer every last drop of wort. Edelmetall Brü® features our patent-pending IsoFlow® diptube—a fully-rotating snap-in accessory that draws down to within ⅛” from the bottom of the kettle.
Best of all, the Edelmetall Brü® is equipped with all the features of a pro-quality kettle—4mm tri-clad bottom, stay-cool silicone handles, etched gallon markers and the adjustable-angle Edelmetall Brü® thermometer. A kettle fit for a king, yet priced for the people.
Everything about the Edelmetall Brü® Kettle makes your beer better and your brew day easier.
The first kettle ever to feature a weldless tangential whirlpool port. The Cyclonic Whirlpool inlet creates a whirlpool to pull debris to the center of your kettle, allowing the transfer of ultra-clear liquid. Better, yet, the constant movement of wort allows rapid chilling and a more effective cold break when used with an immersion chiller.
The revolutionary EZ Clean™ bulkhead is equipped with internal o-rings, allowing the IsoFlow™ dip tube to slide right in. Once installed, it can be fully rotated to your desired position and easily removed for cleaning.
Now features pro-quality 304 Stainless Steel.

4.3 / 5.010 ReviewsWorth the moneyOK, I can understand the resistance to spending this amount of money on a brew kettle. But I was tired of "going cheap" on kettles and them simply not holding up. Plus, I do my brewing using a 3500watt induction cooker and I needed something that had solid, efficient and even heating. All in all, it's an investment in my hobby and well worth the money.August 20, 2018Purchased
6 months agoWay more pros that consBeautiful heavy kettle with more ability than I can currently utilize. All the valves and thermometer are top notch as well as the heavy duty handles and lid. Plenty of room for a 5 gallon batch in this kettle.June 22, 2018Purchased
1 year agoI Love This KettleAwesome kettle; heavy duty construction, heats evenly, great looking! Ball valves and thermometer all work well and the whirlpool port really does help cool wort more quickly and centralize hop sediment. When I eventually move to ten gallon batches, I’ll definitely buy the 20 gallon Edelmetall Bru Kettle. I strongly recommend this kettle, it’s easily the best kettle I’ve ever used.February 13, 2018Purchased
1 year agoDisappointed with the qualityI purchase with a discount but something like this that is listed at nearly $300 should arrive ready to easily assemble and use. Anything that tells you up front that you should assemble and check for leaks before brewing means it will probably leak. Looking at the uneven cutout made for the whirlpool I knew that it would leak and of course it did. Luckily I have some mechanical ability and was able to smooth out the cutout so the the seal had a smooth surface to seal. Also, there are several spots on the bottom that appear to be little rust spots; not sure what that is but the pot doesn't smell good even after cleaning and a fresh water boil. Very poor quality control at Edelmettal, I'd be embarrassed if I worked there. I saw the Spike and the SS kettle with similar features but at a higher price point. I guess going cheap (really?) makes a difference. Personally I would pay a little more for the quality of Spike or SS. I'll keep the Edelmettal, because it looks pretty cool but I do not recommend Edelmettal products. Poor quality.October 29, 2017Purchased

1 year agoAwesome MetallI was looking for a kettle that could brew 10 gallon batches, and this monster met my needs. Sturdy and well thought construction makes this a must have for and brewhaus. I would add that a high quality pump adds to its effectiveness in boiling and transferring liquids.March 18, 2017Purchased
1 year agoFirst Kettle Arrived Damaged...Second Kettle Arrived Damaged.First let me start by saying it's a beautiful kettle. However, the first one I ordered arrived with 5-6 large dents (dented from the inside out...possibly during shipping). That's simply not acceptable for a $300 kettle so I returned it and was shipped a replacement. Well, the second kettle arrived damaged as well, although this time it's only one dent. Regardless, something this expensive should not arrive WITH ANY DENTS! It seemed to be shipped with more care this time (better packaging) so I'm not sure how UPS managed to dent yet another kettle but they did. I despise UPS at this point.
I'm very disappointed and as such cannot give this product a high rating. Perhaps they need to include a fragile label on the box, who knows. Or maybe use a different carrier for items this expensive. I'm not going to bother returning it yet again, just to get another dented kettle shipped to me (fool me once...). I guess I'm S.O.L. and will use as is. Regardless, this was not a pleasant experience and I feel gypped. Buyer beware, these things seem destined to arrive damaged.February 8, 2017Purchased

This is quite a step up, and simplifies my brew day.January 6, 2017Purchased
over 2 years agoNot as nice as I expected for the price. For a big, expensive kettle I found the fittings for the thermometer, outlet and whirlpool to be quite disappointing. There are no flats on anything but the nut, so tightening requires trying to grasp with channel locks both inside the kettle and on the spacers to prevent them from turning while tightening. The outlet became a three-handed two man job. I will probably take them in and have them welded eventually. The lid has spots on the inside where the handle was welded on that loo like they may rust. I'll have to watch them over time. Kettle bottom is stury and seems thicker than the sides by quite a bit, which I like. Should boil well, just a little disappointed in the fitting design.November 25, 2016Purchased
over 2 years agoWorks great! Very high quality kettle. My local taproom was telling me about how the tangential port works to create the whirlpool effect that pro brewers get. So I looked around for a kettle with this and found that if I can find one, it was quite expensive. So when I saw this kettle come back in stock recently. I thought I'd jump on it. I have a 20 Gallon Megapot 2.0 and it's an awesome kettle. This Edelmetall is very similar in construction, so no worries about being heavy, tough, quality, etc. The ports all work as described. Yes they are not the same as welded ports, but they all come apart and can easily be cleaned and not have any gunk buildup in them. Once I had everything hooked up I was very impressed at the whirlpool action and it really did leave a pile in the center!! I don't think anyone NEEEEDS this level of kettle, but it's really cool if brewing beer is your thing and you love vary awesome gear.November 15, 2016

Browse 8 questions Browse 8 questions and 24 answersAre you able to use a stainless steel kettle screen in the bottom valve of the 30 gallon Edelmettall Bru Kettle? If so, what is the size of the screen recommended?Edelmetall Brü® KettleBEST ANSWER: How about the 20 gallon too? I would also clarify the size of the screen being the 1/2 inch boil screen for example. Is there a false bottom available for the 15 gallon and 20 gallon kettle?BEST ANSWER: Yes, the Titan false bottoms will work well in these. The 15" one would fit in the 15 gallon one and a 17" one would fit in the 20 gallon one. While these are more designed to be boil kettles, they could be outfitted with the false bottom to use as a mash tun. Or, a person could use a boil screen, if the intention is just to filter out material from the boil. -Mike W, Midwest SuppliesIs this coming back in stock sometime soon? Are the weldless fittings any different than a megapot?BEST ANSWER: Hello Garrison,
Thank you for choosing Midwest Supplies! We do not have an ETA on the Edelmetall Bru Kettles. We are currently working with a new producer to be able to provide a higher quality kettle. The bulkhead fitting is very similar to the EZ clean Isoflow bulkhead, but the thermometer is of higher quality, and the whirlpool port option is not an option with the Megapot. I hope that this helps!Looking to buy the 15gal so I can scale up in the future. Is this too large to do 5gal full boils in?BEST ANSWER: I purchased a 10gal kettle and think that the only real "concern" would be whether the thermometer is high enough on the kettle wall to read the temperature with only 5 gallons the kettle. On the 10gal, you need to have about 4 gallons to completely submerge the thermowell. Outside of that I cannot see any reason why not. It is an uber quality kettle with all the bells and whistles. I expect it to last a lifetime of brewing. Cheers! Is this a direct fire kettle? Can I use the edelmetall propane burner?BEST ANSWER: I now brew with an electric burner. However, I brewed for years on a comparable propane burder with a lighter weight pot, and was pleased with the results. Personally, I think this pot paired with an Edemetall propane burner would be a fine brew setup. I have made excellent beer with far worse. I am VERY happy with my Edelmetall pot.If you are producing the whirlpool utilizing both fittings how will you get ultra clear wort out?BEST ANSWER: Towards the end of the boil, I connect the ports to a brew pump. The wort flows out of the kettle through the bottom port, through the pump and into the kettle through the whirlpool (top) port. The motion out of the whirlpool port migrates the sediment to the center of the kettle away from the bottom port. I also use irish moss to help clarify the wort.I would like to use the 10ga one as a mash tun, what false bottom will fit?BEST ANSWER: This would use the same Titan False Bottom as the 10 gallon Megapots will, the 11.5" one. You'll probably also want a IsoFlow hose barb, to connect the false bottom to the IsoFlow bulkhead that comes with the Edelmetall Kettle. With that part ( #41431 ) you can connect a false bottom very easily, by replacing the curved diptube, and using a short piece of 3/8" High-temp hose.can you purchase the hardware without purchasing the pot?
