4.9 / 5.080 ReviewsShould have purchased right awayI purchased the double handled corker and had been also looking at the floor corker. I received the floor corker as a gift recently and wish I had bought it right away. It makes corking so easy. The bottle holds in place and the cork goes in to the right depth. If you're planning on making wine for years, get the floor corker.March 30, 2011A must have! The floor corker is well worth the investment! If you have ever struggled with a hand corker, you will be completely sold after just one use. If you have intentions of ever making more than just one batch of wine, buy it right now, so you always have it available. It takes up a little bit of room in my 'wine cellar', but it's a pretty cool looking piece of gear that does the job quick, easy, and right. So far I've used it for 750ml and 375ml bottles, and both worked great! The spring loaded base holds any bottle firmly against the top corking device, and once you pull on the lever, the base position is locked into place, holding the bottle securely as the cork is squeezed right in with no effort!February 25, 2016Too EasyThis corker is so easy to use. It would be nice to have an instruction manual and specs in case you have to take it apart to clean/lubricate (had to translate the basic maintenance instructions on the sticker), but I am mechanically inclined. :) Overall, I am very happy with the quality.October 13, 2011Outstanding CorkerIf you are a serious wine maker, then this is the only way to cork. I use #9 corks and they zip right into the bottle, without presoak or anything._x000D_The unit is not even strained by it. Now if my helper could fill the bottles as fast as I cork them, we would be screaming fast :).December 9, 2011Base pad cracked....but works very wellLike Schmitty, my bottle base pad was also cracked but the corker worked very well. The crack didn't affect it's workability._x000D_Didn't discover the crack until I went to bottle my first batch of wine ever after bulk aging it for 90 days. My fault for not checking the shipment immediately. Still worked like a charm though!_x000D_May 1, 2012Perfect for synthetic corks and like automatic bottle adjustmentFebruary 12, 2018Purchased
8 months agoWorth every penny!I bottled wine using the double lever corker for years and it served me fine for many, many bottles. About 2 years ago I bit the bullet and purchased the floor corker. This is surely one of the best winemaking investments I've made yet. This has cut my effort and time for bottling way down and allowed me to perfectly adjust the depths of my corks. This can be secured and used at tabletop level and it even easier. Also I don't believe for one second that synthetic corks should not be used with this as some have said. I've used nothing but synthetic corks for several hundred bottles and not a single issue.September 22, 2016Great piece to add to your production line. This corker makes the process so much easier. My wife really likes how simple it is to cork the bottles.June 28, 2017Purchased
1 year agoAwesome CorkerI purchased this way before my first batch of wine was ready, so it sat waiting for bottling some merlot. This unit works like a champ and made short work of the corking process, I am very pleased with how well it works!May 11, 2018Purchased
6 months agoworks greatMy corker came with a small imperfection, it has a crack in the bottle base pad. This corker worked super and pushes corks with no effort, a kid can do it.March 28, 2012

Browse 5 questions Browse 5 questions and 11 answersWill this work for Belgian beer Bottles?BEST ANSWER: This model is capable of inserting belgian corks. You either need to add a spacer like a rubber stopper to prevent them from inserting all the way - or you can get it with very careful adjustment of plunger depth. Cheers! Will this work for champagne bottles with belgian beer corks?BEST ANSWER: Hard to say as we have only used it for wine bottles. Wouldn't recommend it.Is there something that goes on the end of the plunger pin. It makes a dent in cork, and is about three fourth inch of flushing the cork. Any suggestions?BEST ANSWER: Hi, I have used for two bottling sessions and if you will adjust how far the cork is pushed, you will find you can make it perfect. Check your cork size. May too large for bottle. Do not soak or lubricate corks. They will seat exactly when you are set up. Took me a few bottles. Good luck. DocDoes this work with Bellisamo bottles?BEST ANSWER: I would have to say yes. The corker doesn't ideally fit the bottom of these small diameter bottles, however I was able to put a cork in an empty bellissima bottle that I had laying around with very little effort. I normally use the 750ml green bottles and have had zero issues with this corker. What size corks are recommended for model 7715 with 750ml wine bottles?BEST ANSWER: #9 corks work well.
