Good Hops
These are for traditional German or Czech beers/ales and in my case..., Dampfbier [steam beer]. As per the description on the website when it comes to flavor, etc. For the traditionalist, not for the person looking for heavy hopped brews.

Good for a lager type beer
If you're looking for nice, mild, floral type hop these would be great for you. I will say they were fresh, so good on Midwest for that. I just prefer a different type.

An interesting flavor
Hallertau has a very interesting flavor profile, sometimes more akin to a cigar than a typical hop. With some of the typical hop pollen flavor, it has notes of cedar and leather. Some black pepper and stone fruit notes complete the profile. Most hallertau varieties have some Mittelfruh heritage, but there is some flavor difference.
