Then I add 8-12 ounces of Melanoidin malt to add aroma, color, body and flavor. It's strong so don't go adding more than a pound unless you know what to expect.January 19, 2014Fabulous in lagersI use a half pount of this Melanoidin instead of perfoming a decoction mash. It adds a fabulous aroma and the taste is what I was expecting. It darkens the beer a little too.March 3, 2014
