Browse 1 question Browse 1 question and 1 answerHow do these kits works? What's included in the kit? My Grandfather used to make wine and he eventually bought from the produce dept. a 5 gallon wine kit. All he did was pop the top and it fermented. Is this hard to make fir a first timer?BEST ANSWER: Welcome to the winemaker's club! Not hard to use a kit, but you will certainly need some basic equipment. There are step-by-step instructions that are easy to follow (they come in every Winexpert kit). Minimally you will need a fermenting bucket, carboy, sanitizing equipment, siphon, bottles, corks, foils, and something to install the corks and foils. As you get more into the craft you will likely add other gadgetry. Check out the contents of a "starter kit"... most will include the essentials above. Happy wining! JP
