DetailsThe 20 Lb. Aluminum CO2 Tank is perfect for the person who absolutely does not want to get their CO2 tank filled all that often, or the individual who goes through a lot of beer. This tank will usually carbonate and dispense 40 to 44- 5 gallon kegs per fill up.
Note: Federal law requires that the CO2 tanks be shipped empty. They can be filled at your local welding supply shop, or look in the phone book under Gas-Industrial, Medical.

I had to take my brand new tank to a welding supply shop and exchange it for a used, filled CO2 tank. They were really stoked about getting the brand new tank which was still cheaper for me than purchasing one of their used tanks.August 9, 2016I like the web site.I like the web site.February 9, 2016It's good to go bigIf you can only afford a smaller size co2 tank, it's understandable, but if you can I would definitely recommend sizing up to one of these bad boys, especially if you brew a lot. One of these filled lasts me up to a full year of brewing or more and when the price for co2 fillups tends to be around teh same price no matter what size your container is, it's a much better investment in the long run. Great quality and I'm sure it will last me many more years of great brewing!November 14, 2013Good for a brew pubGot this for our brewpub in my hometown it lasts at least the 40 kegs that are stated before you need more CO2. Not sure if you'd need it at home as it is pretty large.April 29, 2013Very niceGreat tank for the price, looks good and weighs a lot less than my comparable steel tank. I will buy another if the need arises!March 11, 2013Might as well go bigGreat size for quantity use. Aluminum is important as a filled tank will weigh much less than a steel tank (under 50 lbs) which is still manageable for most people.January 30, 2013Good valueThe extra cost of the 20# bottle will be paid for in less than two refills. My local co2 supplier charges $15.00 to fill a 10# bottle and $16.00 to fill a 20# bottle.Since I get 10 extra pounds for only $1.00 you can see what I mean. I also save the cost of a round trip of 30 miles per refill. The quality of the bottle could not be better. The price is high but as the old saying goes "You get what you pay for" and sometimes it pays off in the long run. I am very pleased with this product.January 18, 2013
