Product Details

This is the largest funnel that will fit into the neck of a carboy. However, you must steady the funnel by hand, as the end of the funnel only goes about 3/4" into the neck of the carboy. The strainer snaps into place and helps strain out larger sediment.

Consider the 9" Anti-Splash Funnel for large volume, hands free use.

Nice but too big

Funnel is good except too wide to fit into a carboy!

Great!

It's a great strainer but too large for what I needed. I'm keeping it for other big jobs in my kitchen though because it is so nice.

Size a Problem

Unfortunately, this funnel doesn't fit into a standard size carboy opening, so if you like using a glass fermentation vessel, this won't be worth it. I do use it to funnel bean seeds into bags for the winter (works great), but for my cider and wine making, it's not so good.
