This deep, densely purple-colored Malbec boasts aromas and flavours of ripe blackberry and blackcurrant, with hints of violets and plums and a touches of leather and tobacco and sometimes a hint of cinnamon. With lots of juicy fruit on the palate, its tannins are gentle and sweet and lead to a spicy finish of tannin and subtle oak.
It is the ideal wine to go with grilled or stewed meats, or pair it with robust dishes like smoked, cured beef or charcruterie, burgers, venison or aged cheddar.

Great kit that makes a beautiful wine.
Wine smells great and I'm into this as my 13th batch of homemade wine. I was disappointed that the instructions online were different than the instructions in the box. I had to painstakingly compare the two to figure out what I needed to do. If this was my 1st batch, I would have been freaking out. I stuck with the box instructions, which included the GenuWine Grape Skins instructions and skipped Secondary Fermentation. As always, I suspect Cru International to come through as a top-quality wine, the only downside being Midwest's online instructions.
Have not make it yet, but looks like a good kit.
