Better than the timeless glass of chocolate milk, Chocolate Milk Stout takes the classic and incorporates it into a decidedly more adult beverage. Beer and chocolate meld together with the creaminess of smooth lactose sugar to create this delectable stout. Opening with a pleasant roasty flavor, Chocolate Milk Stout transitions to an incredibly silky body with all the memory-jogging flavors of freshly mixed chocolate milk. A billowy, firm tan head is the sanctuary for the evocative aromas of chocolate, slight caramel and pleasant roast. It’s udderly delicious.

I liked this beer very much. The recipe is similar to another that I brew, except this one has lactose in it, so I was anxious to try it. I think the lactose made the beer smoother but not necessarily sweeter.
Beer purists may not like this suggestion, but some of this Stout with vanilla ice cream is heavenly
I do not particularly care for stout beers. I tried this one out of curiosity. I was happily surprised. I still have a couple of glasses of beer in the keg.
Finally had my first taste last evening and was pleasantly surprised. My first stout brewed as I am not usually a fan, but this recipe was flavorful, easy to drink with a good finish. Still waiting on others I shared the brew with to comment and if interesting, I will add later.
I much prefer to develop a beer from malts, however apartment life does not offer the space, so I ordered 4 kits. The Milk stout was good for a syrup beer that dose not allow me to get flavors and charismatics I am able to control using grain selection and mash techniques.
The only reason I gave a 4 rating was with another kit I purchased. The wheat kit was missing the grain but had an extra packets of hops. More than likely a packaging mistake by a supplier. But With the price of grain vs hops I am not unhappy, the hops were used to flavor another kit.
