Cream Ale Beer Recipe Kit

SKU 1390

Product Details

The classic American Cream Ale: Medium-light bodied and smooth, gold in color and low in bitterness - a homebrewed “lawnmower beer.

If you enjoyed Liberty Cream Ale or California Steam, you'll love this kit!

An ale version of the light, fizzy American lager style, cream ale is a specialty of the eastern US. Our Cream Ale is medium-light bodied and smooth, gold in color and low in bitterness; the specialty grain blend adds some complexity with a clean, sweet malt profile and a hint of buttered toast in the aroma and flavor. A homebrewed "lawnmower beer" is pretty hard to beat as a summertime thirst-quencher.

Cream Ale= Best Pumpkin Ale Ever!

A soon as we tasted this I knew we needed to get another one ordered. Added pumpkin and spices. Just keeps getting better and better.

Never a kit I didn’t like

I have had good performance on all the various kits that I have purchased. I bought this one because I will be augmenting with Jalapeño.

Cream Ale Beer Recipe Kit

Great taste and easy to brew

I've brewed 3 homebrews so far, the first 2 were ok but this one turned out fantastic! Lots of people are commenting on theirs turning out too dark. Which is a problem i've had before. To solve this I split the extract, boiled half for 60 minutes and put the other half in with 15 minutes remaining. I also added 2 oz of saaz hops (at 20 and 5 mins) which everyone has really enjoyed. I will be making this kit again!

Cream Ale

Brewed this one many times and it is one of my and my fan's favorites. I have not yet brewed this particular kit, but I am submitting this review to hopefully STOP the reminder to review emails from Midwest Supplies. Seriously, send one or two reminder emails and then STOP....
