Balanced towards fruit rather than structure, German Müller-Thurgau Style has aromas of sweet peaches, apples, and blossoms, and is soft and easy-drinking, with gentle minerality and the faintest hint of fresh ginger in the finish. Perfect to sip alone, it's an excellent wine for vegetarian dishes or with stone fruit and soft cheeses.
When Dr. Müller cross-bred Riesling with Madeleine Royale he was trying to get a Riesling that would ripen reliably: little did he know he'd created a grape so delicious that it would go on to be the most cultivated in Germany in the 20th century, even surpassing the original Riesling!

This is my 13th kit wine and I was shocked at the smooth taste, and high ABV (23%). As I am somewhat of a novice, I may not be correct. But starting was SG 1.080 and finished with SG .890. I added 1st flavor packet in the primary fermenter and the 2nd packet after degassing and racking to secondary carboy. I spotted this hint on another review and I think it tastes great! If you want a sweeter wine, maybe follow the directions. :-)
Easy to make, very easy to drink.
This white wine is unbelievable smooth right taste not sweet everyone loves it.
Easy kit to make. Just bottled and tried one. My wife loved it. Hope to age some. Will definitely make again.
I like this wine. I let it clear for a couple weeks longer than the directions, filters and bottled. I had company and we tried it after a day in the bottle and everyone enjoyed it. Simple table wine. Will be good with a fish entree!
