When Dr. Müller cross-bred Riesling with Madeleine Royale he was trying to get a Riesling that would ripen reliably: little did he know he'd created a grape so delicious that it would go on to be the most cultivated in Germany in the 20th century, even surpassing the original Riesling!
Balanced towards fruit rather than structure, German Müller-Thurgau Style has aromas of sweet peaches, apples and blossoms, and is soft and easy drinking, with gentle minerality and the faintest hint of fresh ginger in the finish. Perfect to sip alone, it's an excellent wine for vegetarian dishes or with stone fruit and soft cheeses.

At this time, it seems somewhat "immature". But I like the taste, and look for improvement as it ages in the bottle.
German Müller-Thurgau Wine Kit - RJS Cru International
Kit was complete with good instructions. Brewing went very smoothly with NO issues. I always pump filter my wines just before I bottle and they always seem to sparkle. Would definitely recommend RJS Intl kits.
I normally brew reds. This is the first white wine kit I have used. Was worried this Muller Thurgau grape would make a syrupy sweet wine but I was PLEASANTLY suprised it is only slightly sweeter than a Chardonnay...and no off tastes.
This is a excellent white table wine for the price point.
Company was good enough to replace the kit, the earlier one having leaked out half of the 'reserve' material. Arrived quickly and is in primary fermenter at present. Even though Janis Robinson 'hated' this grape, I loved it so trying again.
