The pride Tuscany, the Sangiovese grape is famous for its dry, bright cherry character and tea-leaf notes, reaching to an expression of Tuscan sun and dusty rich earth. Sturdy and robust, with a tangy backbone of acidity and a slight spiciness from well-strung tannins, ageing uncovers its complex depth of flavour and will reveal notes of blackberries, prunes and vanilla.
A complete food wine, pair this with pasta with sausage, tomato and mushrooms, polenta and black bean casserole, or truffled red wine risotto.

The box arrived in good condition and its progressing nicely The wine is in secondary fermentation. It seem very promising. The initial taste is also good. Im eagerly waiting for it to be ready and bottled
Have not bottled yet. Everything working well as usual. Write to me the first week of Nov for my review.
I've made this kit before, and I've learned to take my time through the ferment & clarification stages.
I just started clarification and all looks good - balance & strength are good. I expect to bottle around Labor Day.
Definitely exceeded expectations
