The pride Tuscany, the Sangiovese grape is famous for its dry, bright cherry character and tea-leaf notes, reaching to an expression of Tuscan sun and dusty rich earth. Sturdy and robust, with a tangy backbone of acidity and a slight spiciness from well-strung tannins, ageing uncovers its complex depth of flavour and will reveal notes of blackberries, prunes and vanilla.
A complete food wine, pair this with pasta with sausage, tomato and mushrooms, polenta and black bean casserole, or truffled red wine risotto.

Excellent wine! Beautiful color and great taste
Looks like it's going to be another good one! It will be ready to bottle in 3 more weeks so we'll see what it comes out to be. I have been taking small tasting samples, and I think it will be a very good wine.
I agree with the description.
I like this wine because it is light enough but still had a lot of flavor.
I use this wine and montepulciano as my every day wines.
I have been ordering this one for years.
I think it doesn't need to age very long for it to be appreciated.
