This graceful wine is medium-bodied with a pale straw color. The fruity scented nose has hints of green apple and lemon with a subtle floral bouquet. On the palate, the wine is delightfully refreshing.

Bottled this in January 2020. This is the 14th wine I've made and by far the best. Looking to make some more.
Nice light, crisp white wine. Easy to make and it cleared very nicely.
I bought a chenin blanc 30 years ago San Louis Obispo county and have had bad results since from major importers at $20-$40 per bottle. I just bottled this 2 weeks ago. the 1st fermentation took 4 weeks not 2. the 2cd clearing took 10 days. The major problem with this RJS kit is that it is to damn drinkable. I love this and have to hold back on drinking it. This is the best white I have ever had and as an international traveler on a high limit expense account I have had some high $ wines. This is #. don't stop the primary fermentation. Let it do its thing. don't rush it. Drink this at home no driving.
I did read it in the product description, but, a back sweeten packet came in the kit. I don’t drink sweetened wine and did not add it. Even though I tasted prior to bottling there was an odd after taste. The kind of taste that a little sugar can fix. I bought a second white wine kit and it also came with a sweetener pack. I hope the flavor improves with some aging.
