Product Details

Thirty six major awards. Four-time Brewers International Champion. Four-time CAMRA Beer of the Year. Simply put, the muse for this kit has won more awards than any other English beer, period. From very simple ingredients comes a wonderfully well-balanced dram of classic strong pale ale. Spicy, herbal, and English biscuits. Flashes of clean citrus and chewy minerals blend into a complex finish that is refreshingly bitter and remarkably dry. The way a pint was meant to taste. Truly spot on!

If you enjoyed Brass Ale (Bass), or Big Ben Pale Ale, you'll love this kit!

Super good!

Solid and easy and tastey chill beer. An easy drinking and very satisfying beer. Would buy again.

Fabulous Ale and Easy Kit, do it, do it NOW!

This is a really great tasting ale and the brew was super easy. Fermentation was quick and effective, and the resulting ale was extremely satisfying. Bottle conditioning took the full two weeks to reach a decent carbonation, but it definitely got there. Hoppy and delicious, very sessionable. Highly recommend.

Decent

Whipped this brew up in no time. Very light and sweet, wonder if I should have let it ferment longer though. The only gripe I have is the fizz drop method of carbing didn't work for me, beer was completely flat.

I think recipe has a lot of potential though, great beer to learn on, and easy to modify as one gets better, hoping to work it into a perfect, easy drinking beer for my tastes
