Product Details

Minnesotans know more about keeping warm than just about anybody in the world. That's why we patterned our delicious Winter Warmer recipe after a famous locally brewed winter ale. This beer starts big and malty, and finishes with a warming alcohol note. It is hopped with spicy Willamette hops. Don't forget, a bottle of Winter Warmer makes a great stocking stuffer!

If you enjoyed Elegant Bastard Strong Red Ale, you'll love this kit!

Recommended: 2-stage fermentation and yeast starter.

nice holiday brew

Very similar to last years batch,( Scottish spiced winter ale) that was a big hit.
Makes a nice gift or holiday party. I think Midwest kits are great and rival the
local micro brew.

Haven’t brewed yet but looks great!

Good

Beer is fairly balanced, slightly sweet, with a malt forward profile. I used the Safebrew American Ale yeast. Much like a porter I'd say. That's fresh out of the fermentation tank. Not sure what it will age out to be like.

Great Product

The kit arrived in perfect shape with all the ingredients. It is in mid process of making it but all of the product arrived perfectly.
