DetailsThese innovative products are the highest quality available. All you need is a 7/8" drill bit. Why pay a welder? The stainless steel bulkhead fitting provides a watertight seal, and a 1/2" NPT port for attaching a quick disconnect fitting or 1/2" NPT barb on the outside of the kettle, or a 12" Boil Screen, or 1/2" NPT barb on the inside of the kettle. The attached ball valve is stainless steel. Sized to fit perfectly into a Sanke keg or brew kettle.

4.5 / 5.022 ReviewsCouldn't be easierI don't think you can find a stainless ball valve much cheaper in price than this one and it worked perfectly for my boil pot. Along with the 12" screen and a stainless nipple, looks like a professional build.September 19, 2012Solid valveI bought this and attached it to a brew pot that I bought elsewhere. I drilled the hole myself and added a little teflon tape (to the outside threads) and used the 2 supplied high-temp silicone gaskets and it's been leak-free. I attached a 6" boil screen on the inside and I've had no complaints with this ball valve. I opted for the stainless steel over the brass because I wanted something easy to clean, durable enough to last just about forever, and would have no chance of leeching 'off' flavors into my beer._x000D__x000D_The handle has a cover to make it a little more comfortable, silicone perhaps. There is a little tab that locks the handle in the full-open and closed positions but it easily adjusts to whatever flow rate you want that's in between the two. The threaded length was just about perfect for my brew pot because there's not a lot of excess threads inside and it seals up TIGHT. No complaints, definitely worth the price if you're looking to have a dedicated brew pot/kettle.October 29, 2012Niiiiiiiiiiiice!Works like a charm. I put together a 95 qt mash w this and it is water tight. Good to the last drop!November 8, 2012Easy and effectiveI love the idea of weldless for a couple of reasons. First is because I'm not a welder and don't want to pay someone to install something. Second is because it's always nice to be able to disassembling things to either remove and replace or, more likely, to clean. I've taken this apart a few times to remove some gunk from the one attached to the boil kettle. _x000D__x000D_The one negative, and this is more user error than anything, is the plastic/rubber handle which will easily melt if the heat from the burner is channeling up towards it. So, I guess place the handle facing the wind or make sure your pot is centered on the burner.November 20, 2012Great ValveI did a lot of shopping around before I decided to buy this valve. This was definitely the best value for an all stainless steel valve out there. I was able to install this valve with a stainless barb and boil screen in less than 60 seconds and have never had a problem with it. It fits perfectly with the heavy duty pots sold at Midwest and with the addition of a brewmometer it makes an excellent boil kettle. After brewing nine batches I am not sure how I ever survived without it.January 5, 2013I like it better than a weldedI can TIG weld stainless, but I still like these since they install so easily and allow for a more thorough cleaning. Expensive, but we have 4 of them that have been in use for about 5 years without any issues other than replacing the o-rings on very rare occasion.March 20, 2013Great valueGreat time saver and value. Wish it mad more thread on it, but it will work well.April 1, 2013You won't find anything that's stainless steel for less.Kind of pricey but if you shop around you wont find anything thats stainless steel for less. If installed correctly it works, but the gaskets are tricky. Good components.July 1, 2013No complaints hereIt looks like a professional build with all quality parts at a good price. It was a piece of cake to put on.November 4, 2013Easy to assembleIt leaked at first so I took it apart, put it back together and reattached it. It's worked properly ever since. It's a good build for a good price.January 2, 2014
