5.0 / 5.02 ReviewsHard to wait till MayBrewed Feb. and lagered about 1-1/2mo. Kegged (April Fool's Day) and thought I'd give it till May, but had to test early. Now I guess it might not see May. Batch sparged and fell short on my normal efficiency, not sure why (I know drinking while brewing works, so I'm sure that's not the problem). Despite that, this beer is still excellent. Nice maltiness balanced with the hops. Everyone here likes this one a lot, maybe too much.April 7, 2011Excellent ValueMashed this kit at 156 to 154 degrees for two hours. Boiled for two hours. SG was 1.067 finishing gravity was 1.012. Fermented for two months. After a month in the bottle it was extremely tasty. A light body but very warming on chilly and windy afternoons in the valley. I will be brewing this kit again in the winter for consumption next spring.April 21, 2011
