The Hullwrecker worked well in its first use using the default roller gap. I had no problem with slow flow, and the wort seemed sweeter (this was a beer I’ve made many times), so maybe it’s better as they claim to crush grains just before use. The only down side was the extremely small size of the screws holding the hopper together. I powered it with my 3/8 in Chuck Ryobi drill.
It worked very well for our purposes.
Works great. Remove the blue film before assembling and have some very small wrenches handy. That's the only criticism I have. Perhaps in future models they could use simpler fasteners.
Works as described and is easy to set up and dial in to meet your grain crushing needs.
Got it put it together and the rubber seal keeps piping off and when started grinding the shoot popped off so had to
Hold it down while cranking to Finnish
Fasteners are very small
