Product Details

Includes everything you need to mash and sparge your first All-Grain batch, right out of the box.

We’ve taken our All Grain Cooler System and added upgrades to provide the best possible brewing experience. The completely redesigned mash/lauter tun features thick insulation, a large 12+ gallon capacity and the first-ever integrated thermometer. The large capacity will easily handle any 5-gallon brew you can throw its way, from session beers to Imperials, and it is even large enough to accommodate 10-gallon batches up to a gravity of 1.065.

Featuring all stainless steel fittings including our proprietary bulkhead and Titan False Bottom, this system is designed to last. Steel reinforced and silicone gasketed mounting holes ensure a tight, leak-free hardware fit, and offer easy installation with top-of-the-line brewing performance. Everything you need to mash, sparge and collect wort is included so no additional purchases are necessary. Just provide your boil kettle for a premium, robust brewing system.

The unique geometry of the mash/lauter tun and hot liquor tank makes storing your gear between batches even more convenient. Simply remove the valves and thermometer, and the hot liquor tank will nest perfectly inside the mash tun for the smallest possible footprint for storage.

New to All-Grain? Check out our Crash Course in Mashing and Sparging.

NOTE: A full boil is required for All-Grain brewing, so a boil kettle with an 8 to 10 gallon capacity is highly recommended.

All-grain cooler system review

Cooler system worked fine. A little leaking around the fittings. Instructions for setting up hardware in coolers was a little confusing but I was able to figure it out. Largest cooler had a crack in outer wall from shipping but worked fine

It works, but it needs some help

First of all, this cooler system works. In a pinch it gets you into all grain for a low price tag (if you are already doing extract brews and have all of that equipment). The main complaint I have is that the coolers have a LOT of heat loss. As another reviewer has said, it can loose up to 10° F per hour. Usually I have to do small decoctions to raise the temperature enough to stay in my zone. That’s infuriating friends. If I had it to do again I would invest in an electric brewing system like Clawhammer or Anvil. The only way to get this system to work as advertised would be to add a HERMS coil and a pump as well as a temperature controller. That’s at least another $400. So add it all up. $400 for brewing equipment plus $400 for this cooler system plus $400 for temperature control equals $1200. Now you’re well in the price range of a nice all electric brewing system. Beer for thought.

Would not buy it twice

Overall it gets the job done. Temp drops 10 def during mash. HLT could be 10 gallons but is not...my biggest complaint is the fittings. When you adjust the valves they are very flimsy. Will create a little leak at the seal every time..(yes they are tight) after two brews overall I wish I would have just spent the money on stainless equipment.

Needs better instructions

The all grain kit worked fine, but took too much time to assemble due to poor instructions. A YouTube video for assembly would also be nice. Doesn’t need to be that complicated!
