Beyond Kit Wines
I love kit wines. That being said, I have experienced a quality ceiling for reds at any price point that can’t approach the wine I can make from fresh juice and skins. Until Stags Leap Merlot. Stags Leap Merlot review
Just finished primary fermentation. Added the oak cubes to carboy but waiting to add clarifiers and k+ metabisulfite and sorbate to allow maximal oak extraction. Tastes good even after racking off of primary fermenter. Definitely need the large bucket to accommodate the grape skins. Will review final product when done.
