Wyeast 4632 Dry Mead Yeast

Mead yeast activity was very fast within 24 hours. I have used this type of yeast a few times. I haven’t had any issues yet. The mead is still fermenting. Do far I haven’t had any off tastes from using this yeast.

Worked well active for a couple weeks

Immediately after arriving, I placed my yeast in the fridge as instructed by the package. I followed all instructions on activation, but unfortunately this yeast didn’t have much activity. I’m not sure how well it’s goong to perform during fermentation. The first week seemed slow. I wouldn’t buy this again. Especially at the price.

This is the first time I have used this yeast and it is great so far. The first taste of a raspberry mead is fantastic while racking after 3 weeks. The worst thing is waiting a year to try the finished mead. Using this liquid yeast is head a shoulders above the dry yeast I have tried in the past batches.
