Oktoberfest Beer Recipe Kit

SKU 1350

Product Details

A full-bodied and elegant red-amber lager with a subdued German noble hop bitterness and complex malty profile that's great all year round.

If you enjoyed Oktoberfest Lager, you'll love this kit!

This famous German style is stronger than an everyday lager and is the fuel for Oktoberfest celebrations all over the world. The original pre-industrial Oktoberfest was called Maerzenbier, brewed at the end of the brewing season in the spring to be lagered in caves all summer for fall and harvest festivities. Our kit will give you a full-bodied and elegant red-amber beer with a subdued German noble hop bitterness and complex malty profile that's great all year round.

Just what I expected and love the fast shipping and $20 flat ship promo

This ia an annual brew for the fall season

I have brewed this beer annually for many years. I find that a double up starter is critical to get the very best this beer has to offer. I have never had a bad batch but the larger starter has really upped the quality of the finished product. It never lasts long once it's done!

Oktoberfest 🙌🏼

Wow - This beer tastes as good as it smelt when boiling down.Longer wait time for finish product but well worth it! Cheers 🍻

Lager process is longer

The brewing process went well, but I'm ready to try it! It smelled great!
The 2 month+ lager process is a long time to wait to taste the results.
This will also be my first kegging try.
Lots going on with this batch.

This makes a dark beer.

This tastes like a professional brewery made it. My issue is that this is not a lager, this is a dark beer with a strong taste.
