Fermented nicely. Brewed with 4.5 gallons water. Did 1 point better on SG. Good flavor. Kegged last week.
Quick ferment, no off flavors. Great for english style beers
04 has always been reliable, which isn't always true with some of the pricier liquid yeasts (sometimes puffed-up and slow starting fermentation , and sometimes no fermentation. I typiclly mail order in beer supplies and srore yeast in the fridge for weeks if not months. S-04 has never failed me. Fermentation typically starts within 24hrs and FG ranges between 1.0020 and 1.0016.
It's reliable and performs as expected!
