Announcing a partnership of epic proportions—Master Vintner® and winemaking authority Tim Vandergrift have combined forces to bring you the ultimate winemaking starter kit. The Master Vintner® Wine Starter Kit is the most comprehensive winemaking starter kit on the planet—equipped with all the tools you need to make top-quality wine at home in a fraction of the time.

The crystal-clear Big Mouth Bubbler® PET Fermentor instantly shows you how your primary fermentation is progressing. Graduated gallon markings give you accurate volumes without ever taking a measurement. The ported lid, sized to fit all your tools, lets you test, transfer and taste your wine during primary without removing the lid. A convenient punted bottom ensures you transfer clear wine from the get-go so you don’t have to fuss over clarifying later. (Please note: when making 6 gallon kits that include wine skins, a larger fermentor must be used, such as the 7.9 gallon wine fermentor.)

Through unparalleled instruction and an all-inclusive equipment lineup, the Master Vintner® Starter Kit will teach you how to become a winemaking expert. It’s easier than ever to indulge your palate with a complex Cabernet, impress your friends with a well-rounded Merlot, and celebrate every occasion with your own hand-crafted Sparkling Wine.

*Note: Kit no longer contains microfiber big mouth bubbler cloth shown in photo.

Very good kit and great support

I recently purchased the Master Vintner Wine Making Starter Kit, along with bottles and an initial wine (grapes) kit. I am extremely happy I purchased the kit directly from Midwest Supplies. Given that I am a first time home winemaker, I had a number of questions and their customer service staff have been great!

Master vintner wine starter kit

Very pleased with this kit and the great service. How ever I’m a heads first both feet in kinda person and quickly noticed a few thing’s. Before my first batch was complete I ordered another carboy and wine kit! Lol also upgraded to # 9 corks and a floor corker. Last items are wants not needs!

First time

This was our first time making wine and it came out wonderful. A bit of advice make sure you put the oaks chips in a mesh bag. They get stuck when you siphon.

Starter kits

I bought 2 starter kits, being completely new to making wine thinking I needed a few to get me started on a few flavors, realizing now a person only needs 1 starter kit regardless of how many flavors you start out with. Also everything in the starter kits you don't necessarily need. The big mouths with the spigots should be recommended to make it easier so you don't have a siphon it out, the starter kits should come with the spigot bigmouths, not the glass carboys. I feel the starter kits are sort of a waste of money after you realize what you actually need or not & to just order exactly what is needed & what you want. If you have someone you know who has made wine before, ask for their opinion on what supplies to buy.
