4.7 / 5.017 ReviewsDoes the jobThis is solidly built and easy to put together. Do yourself a favor and buy one of these. You can get to brewing much faster than if you make it yourself.January 4, 2013Well constructedThis is a well constructed hopper, and fits the base and mill perfectly. It's durable and holds a full batch of grain. I put a few strips of duct tape around the edges in case I bang my hand into them. For the complain that it is not big enough, just refill the hopper and grind more.January 14, 2013Fits the base and the monster mill perfectlyIt took me 15 minutes to assemble, all I needed was a screwdriver and pliers. It works like a charm. If it was able to hold 16 pounds I would be even happier.February 24, 2013Works great! All that mattersThis product works great. That's really all that matters. It is a bit pricey, but, it fits perfectly, the small size is made to disassemble easily to reduce shipping costs. It is simple to put together. A must addition to your MM2.March 6, 2013Nice HopperThis hopper is very nicely designed. It goes together very easily and it has been designed to be shipped easily. It took me about ten minutes and I am not the world's handiest guy, but it is really straightforward. My only gripe about it is that it is pretty expensive. But there should not be a need to ever replace it, so it is really worth the added cost.April 1, 2013NecessaryTo run the mill you have to fashion a hopper. This is well constructed and designed, and easy to assemble. I holds almost the entire grain bill, so you have to refill it once with a few extra pounds.April 10, 2013Very SturdyThis hopper is very sturdy once assembled. I typically pick-up and move around the entire mill assemby by holding the hopper alone. It is very easy to assemble. Just make sure the rollers move freely before torquing down the hopper on the mill or you could seize or restrict them.May 29, 2013Rock solid and holds enough grainMeets my needs. Its not going to fall apart and as I grind I pour in more grain. If it was even bigger it would be too bulky.July 23, 2013The last piece of the puzzleI got this when I got my mill and base so I now have a complete mill. It holds enough grain for 5 gallon batches if I use a simple trick of putting a card board box on top with no bottom. For large batches I pour in additional grain as it gets milled.August 21, 2013
