4.7 / 5.017 ReviewsHolds enough grain for a 5 gallon batchIts sturdy and saved me from having to make my ownMarch 7, 2014Holds plenty of grainIts made well and will last forever. It holds a lot of grain and I can always pour in more if I need to.September 23, 2013The last piece of the puzzleI got this when I got my mill and base so I now have a complete mill. It holds enough grain for 5 gallon batches if I use a simple trick of putting a card board box on top with no bottom. For large batches I pour in additional grain as it gets milled.August 21, 2013Rock solid and holds enough grainMeets my needs. Its not going to fall apart and as I grind I pour in more grain. If it was even bigger it would be too bulky.July 23, 2013Works great once assembledThis does what it says and it holds maybe a little more than the 7# it says it can hold. The problem is it didn't come with any assembly instructions and I couldn't find them on monster's website so I just had to look at the pictures and try to figure it out. this worked OK, but I did get a few of the bolts in backwards by accident and had to retry with them. Also, the order in which the peices went together was not obvious and resulted in a couple of readjustments. It's built for the mm2 though so it is still probably easier than making your own.July 5, 2013Hold the a good amount of grainIts a good sized hopper, I can put a lot of grain in it, though I wouldn't mind if it was a little bigger, holding another 5 pounds. Easy enough to build and attach, it's functional and will last.June 5, 2013Very SturdyThis hopper is very sturdy once assembled. I typically pick-up and move around the entire mill assemby by holding the hopper alone. It is very easy to assemble. Just make sure the rollers move freely before torquing down the hopper on the mill or you could seize or restrict them.May 29, 2013NecessaryTo run the mill you have to fashion a hopper. This is well constructed and designed, and easy to assemble. I holds almost the entire grain bill, so you have to refill it once with a few extra pounds.April 10, 2013Nice HopperThis hopper is very nicely designed. It goes together very easily and it has been designed to be shipped easily. It took me about ten minutes and I am not the world's handiest guy, but it is really straightforward. My only gripe about it is that it is pretty expensive. But there should not be a need to ever replace it, so it is really worth the added cost.April 1, 2013Fits wellThe hopper is pretty good. It took 15 minutes to assemble, and fits well. It holds a fair amount of grain. In fact, when I start up my drill, I keep the hopper empty and start pouring in grain. So I don't need a bigger hopper.March 27, 2013
