DetailsThese bolt-on leg extensions for the 27 Gallon Fermenator are a great feature for brewers that want to make both ales and lagers with the same unit. Since the legs are removable, you can place the Fermenator in you refrigerator for lager brewing. With the legs attached, the Fermenator is at the perfect height for easy siphoning into a Cornelius keg. The leg extensions may also be used with casters, which is quite handy for rolling the Fermenator into place after filling.

I fill my fermentor then move it to a temperature controlled housing I built to control the yeast temperature.December 5, 2013Goes with the TriClampWe brew 20 gallons and our system is a nice one with the tri-clamp and castors. The leg extensions are a must if you want to get the most out of your system and to be able to move it around, from a refrigerated room to the brew kettle. They are well made and strong and worth it for what they give us.October 1, 2013Strong enough to support a 22 gallon beerI have a nice set up and got these so I could move around my Fermenator. The extra height lets me get at the fittings on the bottom more easily to harvest yeast. Its a good system, better than anything I could weld together.September 8, 2013Well designedI also have the tri-clamp fittings. The legs are expensive but worth it. _x000D_They are better and safer than anything I could jury-rig. They are well made, and everything lines up precisely so the surface is flush. My Fermenator is now four feet tall and with the tri-clamps its easy to remove sediment and collect yeast, and transfer to a keg._x000D__x000D_March 15, 2013
